How to cut in Sod

Hello friends, it's Marvin Salcido here with Salcido Lawn and I wanted to give you another quick pro tip when you're doing patch-in sod work. When you need to cut in an irregular shape, a lot of people use a knife or a box cutter, and one thing that we found that works really well is a drywall saw. You can pick these up at Lowe's or Home Depot, I think they're under $10 and it cuts through the sod really easy. You can cut the shape super quick and it makes for light work. You're able to get your sod in really easily, so remember that next time you go to do some sod work get your drywall saw and make things a whole lot easier for you.
